Content Operations Manager

The content operations manager oversees the daily activities of a team of content creators, ensuring smooth operation and efficient execution. This role involves managing schedules, onboarding new team members, and driving process improvements to maintain a productive work environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and communicate with the team to ensure all coverage needs are met, including scheduling and workflow management.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation and peer mentoring assignments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational queries and day-to-day workflow issues.
  • Monitor team performance and process adherence, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for scheduling, onboarding, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership to resolve productivity bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture within a remote team.
  • Analyze key operational metrics and deliver regular reports to management.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience in operations, team supervision, or coordination within startup, remote, or BPO environments.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using digital scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Able to thrive independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Experience supporting online content creator teams or managing online communities is an asset.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based or premium content platforms is beneficial.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
