Account Receivable and Collection Specialist Role

Remote teams are seeking experienced account receivable and collection specialists with expertise in QuickBooks to manage accounts receivable, track payment records, and improve collection processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts receivable, reconciling and applying payments accurately within the system.
  • Handle incoming payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation and application within the system.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any payment disputes professionally.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, credit memos, and account statements efficiently.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable and collection efforts.
  • Assist in implementing effective techniques to improve collection processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and organize documentation related to accounts receivable activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently is a must.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary.
