We are seeking a highly motivated Senior SMSF Accountant with a strong background in managing Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
The ideal candidate will be confident using Class Super and Excel, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Prepare comprehensive workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients, adhering to strict regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents, maintaining accurate records throughout.
- Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ATO and Superannuation Industry requirements, collaborating closely with auditors, administrators, and financial planners as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date records for SMSF clients, communicating effectively with clients and team members to ensure professional service delivery.
Experience with Xero and relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline are highly desirable.
