About the role

As the Chief Surveyor at ITD-Italian Thai Development Public Company Limited', you will be responsible for overseeing all surveying activities on our construction projects in San Fernando Pampanga. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in construction surveying and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing surveying strategies and procedures to ensure the accurate measurement and mapping of construction sites
  • Must know how to use survey equipment (Total Station, Automatic Level, etc)
  • Interpreting and translating survey data into actionable information for the construction team
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of surveying activities into the overall construction process
  • Identifying and addressing any surveying-related issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all surveying activities
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar Chief Surveyor or Senior Surveyor role within the construction industry (Railway, roads and bridges)
  • Extensive knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software, including MS OFFICE, GPS, and CAD systems
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of surveyors, including mentoring and training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A relevant degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in both English and the local language
