Accounts Payable Specialist

The accounts payable specialist plays a vital role in the company's financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, preparing and submitting payment requests, and maintaining accurate records.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, proven working experience in accounts payable, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate payment terms.
  • Prepare and submit payment requests, including invoices and checks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.
  • Perform reconciliations of payable accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Proven working experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication abilities.
