Job Title: Director of Student Life

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our student life initiatives, fostering an inclusive and engaging campus environment.



About the Role

The Director of Student Life will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote student success, well-being, and personal growth. This includes overseeing student organizations, advising student leaders, and coordinating events and activities that enhance the student experience.



Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, retention, and satisfaction;
  • Provide guidance and support to student leaders, helping them navigate campus resources and opportunities;
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to design and deliver programs that meet the diverse needs of students;
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and social responsibility among students, promoting a positive and supportive campus community;
  • Analyze data and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement;
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in student affairs, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies into program development.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in Education, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field (doctoral degree preferred);
  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in student affairs or related services;
  • Proven track record in managing student programs, counseling services, and campus life initiatives;
  • Experience in conflict resolution, crisis management, and student discipline;
  • Academic and professional background in Guidance and Counseling and Student Services;
  • Ability to write effective academic communications;
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
