Accounting Specialist Job Opportunity

This role involves the preparation and review of personal income tax returns for individuals, including employees, business schedules, and rental properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and review of personal income tax returns for individuals.
  • Declaration of income from all sources.
  • Input of dividends, distributions, and franking credits.
  • Input of allowable deductions.
  • Preparation of business schedules and reconciliation of income and expenses.
  • Preparation of rental schedule, including depreciation schedules.
  • Preparation of motor vehicle schedule.
  • Calculation of capital gains on disposal of assets.
  • Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and instalment activity statements.
  • Analysis of ledger data and preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Regular data entry and bookkeeping of client records.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Professional License (Passed Board License Exam).
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Experience in modern cloud accounting software such as Xero and Sage HandiTax.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dynamic personality with adaptability to fast-paced growth environment.
  • Team-oriented and enthusiastic for continuous learning.
