Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Systems Engineer to support the design, installation, and maintenance of local communications networks for coastal and maritime surveillance systems. This role is critical in ensuring secure, reliable communications for national defense and maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain local communications networks at project sites.
  • Support integration of communications networks with surveillance systems (radar, AIS, EO/IR, COP).
  • Coordinate with ICT/OT, HF/VHF, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable operations.
  • Provide input for equipment procurement, installation, and sustainment.
  • Deliver training to personnel on local communications network operations and troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in local communications network design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Strong background in maritime and coastal surveillance communications.
  • Expertise in HF/VHF/UHF radio systems, IP-based networks, and secure communications protocols.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and technical training skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
