Then this position may be for you, so read on What you do as a Senior Maritime Structural Engineer As a senior maritime structural engineer, you will undertake engineering projects related to the design, renovation or replacement of hydraulic and maritime structures in ports and waterways.

This includes port infrastructure such as quay walls, jetties, mooring facilities, and also river works, embankments, weirs and locks in waterways. You will initiate, manage, and supervise engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget. You will be working in multidisciplinary teams alongside experts in hydraulic, geotechnical, nautical, and mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities:site inspections, visual, and structural analysis using structural analysis softwarefeasibility assessment of various solutions and concept design of structuresstructural design including steel and concrete structurespreparing specifications and design criteria for structural engineering workschecking of calculations, designs, 3D models, and drawingsmanaging the schedule and quality of the assignment within the projectcommunicating with senior experts within the companycontribute to the preparation of commercial, technical, and financial proposalspreparation of high-quality reports, presentations, and workshopspromotion of the team's work within the company, at industry events, and with clientssupport, guide, and mentor junior team members with project engineering worksstay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and technologies and apply them to optimize project outcomes

Requirements:master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or other relevant fieldlicensed Philippine civil engineerat least 10 years' experience in structural design and engineering in a consultancy firmproficiency in computer analysis and design software i.e. SAP2000, STAAD Proexperienced in structural analysis and design of hydraulic and maritime (port) structuresexperienced in structural design according to International design standards (BS, Eurocodes, American, Australian Standards, etc.)good understanding of BIM/Revit working environment (should have been involved in numerous projects)script writing experience (VBA, Macro, Dynamo, Python) will be beneficialfamiliar with advanced analysis i.e. nonlinear or dynamic analysis will be beneficialprevious experience performing under time pressure while maintaining the required technical quality by following the company Quality Management Systemsexperience with writing proposals, planning, and running small to large scale projectscapable of undertaking assignments effectively to achieve technically sound, timely, and cost-effective resultsproject management experience is valuedexternal network of port industry clients is valuedother relevant experience in the port and maritime infrastructure sector (e.g. design, construction, and operations
