Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and performing general ledger activities, including fixed assets, intangibles, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.

You will also lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Additionally, you will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and perform general ledger activities, including fixed assets, intangibles, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, AR, Payroll, FP&A, and other teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Support process improvements, system upgrades, policy development, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CPA certification.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS or GAAP, accounting principles, and internal financial controls.
  • Skilled in using Concur, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and banking platforms such as JPMorgan Access.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and driven to ask the right questions and contribute proactively.
  • Amenable to a full-remote setup and willing to work night shift (US West Coast) hours.
