The Boom Truck Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of boom truck equipment. The role requires a thorough understanding of project operations and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts daily checks of the equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Inspects safety devices and hoisting cables of the crane, reporting any abnormalities or need for replacement.
  • Regularly inspects shackles, sling belts, and cables, reporting damage or wear and tear to superiors.
  • Secures lifting permits before operation.
  • Assembles crane boom and accessories according to job requirements.
  • Lifts and transfers various loads using the equipment as required by project operations.
  • Accounts for delivered items between central warehouse and project site.
  • Ensures equipment is operated within specifications outlined in the equipment manual.
  • Positions and sets up equipment properly before lifting and transferring loads.
  • Operates equipment only when a rigger is providing support, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Parks and shuts off equipment on designated location after operation.
  • Maintains cleanliness of equipment interior, exterior, and accessories at all times.
  • Assists with basic preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Reports findings during checking or operating equipment to superiors for proper action.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certified TESDA or ACEL NCII.
  • Professional driver's license with restriction 8.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • High School Graduate.
