Monitoring and Compliance Specialist for Mortgage Liens

The selected candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate review of collateral documents and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a complete and updated list of assigned accounts for monitoring.
  • Review collateral documents in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring endorsement to the registration authority for mortgage lien annotation.
  • Generate lists of accounts requiring notices (90, 30, and matured) and send out notifications within scheduled timelines.
  • Update the status of assigned accounts and prepare monthly production reports.
  • Closely coordinate with the registration counterpart for turned-in accounts.
  • Review and recommend returns of collateral documents due to documentary deficiencies or inconsistencies.
  • Handle simple borrower inquiries and elevate complex concerns to team leaders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in retail lending as a documentation reviewer.
