Cost Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cost Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction project, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our residential building project.

In this role, you will be responsible for cost planning, measurement, and change management for all internal works. This includes bulk measures and tracking of finishes, as well as preparing detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Australian construction and quantity surveying/estimation for residential projects. You will also have expertise in estimating software such as CostX / Bluebeam / Planswift.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Bulk measurement of all internal works to establish accurate baseline quantities.
  • Ongoing cost tracking and variation assessments as apartment configurations and designs change.
  • Detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents preparation.
  • Liaison with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
  • Measurement and management of quantities using CostX.
  • Interpretation and verification of architectural and engineering drawings.
