About the Job

We are seeking a skilled estimator to perform accurate takeoffs and costing for electrical lighting control projects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of lighting fixtures, controls, and can efficiently translate drawings into precise estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking off quantities from architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans
  • Estimating costs using Planswift or Bluebeam software
  • Reviewing and interpreting drawings to identify lighting fixtures and controls
  • Preparing detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborating with project team members to verify and refine estimates

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Planswift or Bluebeam software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for accurate takeoffs
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills
