Legal Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the legal department, you will provide technical and administrative support to ensure seamless operation of our business.

  • Provide critical support to the legal team in managing permits, licenses, authorizations, and legal cases.
  • Develop and maintain compliance and legal audit checklists, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with government agencies to submit necessary documents and assist in compliance efforts.
  • Conduct thorough research on various cases and issues, providing actionable insights to the legal team.
  • Update project monitoring databases and create reports and presentations that showcase our success.
  • Ensure the safekeeping of legal documents and contracts, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Draft agreements, update contracts, and prepare memos that meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsels to prepare for cases, liaise with witnesses and agencies, and build relationships with government agencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Word processing, and knowledge of office practices, legal procedures, and legal research.
  • Ability to perform routine and complex legal research and administrative work accurately, effectively building relationships within the organization.
