About the Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Central Procurement Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely procurement of materials and services required for various projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster a strong customer service ethos within the procurement team, demonstrating excellence personally and coaching team members to deliver a customer-focused experience.
  • Lead the procurement team in purchasing materials and services, placing orders accurately and on time while adhering to project timelines.
  • Track supplier performance, maintain strong relationships, and monitor inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, implementing new technologies and systems as necessary.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that all procurement activities support project goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience with strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
