Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee and manage our company's procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure high-quality goods/services at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, including delivery schedules and quality.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new sources, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Forecast procurement needs and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, legal) to ensure procurement aligns with operational needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, contracts, and reports for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CIPS, CSCP) are a plus.
