Job Title: Facade Designer and Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Facade Designer and Estimator. This position requires hands-on experience in façade detailing, quantity takeoffs, and preparation of shop drawings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems by reviewing architectural and structural plans and utilizing specialized façade software.
  2. Perform material and quantity takeoffs by summarizing data in Excel/PDF format.
  3. Collaborate closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations.
  4. Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
  5. Utilize Logikal, AutoCAD, and Excel to complete design and estimation tasks efficiently.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in façade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems.
  • Skilled in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
