We are seeking a visionary Design Manager to lead and elevate our design operations for facade, structural, and architectural works in vertical construction projects. The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect, Civil Engineer, or Quantity Surveyor with proven leadership and intensive industry experience, capable of managing complex design deliverables, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring world-class project execution.

This role is not just about managing drawings — it's about shaping design excellence, driving innovation, and ensuring that every project stands as a landmark of precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities (Core Functions):
  • Strategic Design Leadership – Oversee and direct all design activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, client specifications, and global standards.
  • Team & Process Management – Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, draftsmen, and engineers to deliver high-quality outputs efficiently.
  • Quality & Compliance Oversight – Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and project timelines while minimizing revisions and errors.
Core Competencies:
  • Licensed Architect, Civil Engineer, or Quantity Surveyor (Master's degree or certifications are an advantage).
  • Strong expertise in facade, glass & aluminum, and structural design for vertical construction projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, SketchUp, and other industry software.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage design workflows end-to-end.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills with the ability to defend design integrity.

  • Lead the preparation, review, and approval of all design and shop drawings.
  • Supervise and mentor design teams to maintain technical and creative excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
  • Coordinate across engineering, project management, and site teams to resolve design-related issues.
  • Drive efficiency and innovation in design processes and outputs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • On-time delivery of design packages (target: 100% compliance with project schedules).
  • Accuracy rate of drawings and documents (90%).
  • Reduction of design-related issues on-site (target: 90%).
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (PRC license required; advanced degree/certifications preferred).
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in design, with 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Extensive portfolio showcasing major vertical construction, facade, and glass & aluminum projects (submission required).
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
