About the Role

The Global Accounting Manager will oversee daily operations, including financial close processes and account reconciliations. They will collaborate with senior management to prepare and review journal entries, balance sheets, and income statements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial close process for corporate entities and international subsidiaries
  • Oversee performance of the GL team and contribute to cash burn reporting
  • Coordinate with AP teams on accounting transactions and facilitate communication
  • Work with logistics teams to manage inventory accounts, shipments, and returns
  • Take ownership of WFOE China operations, including invoicing, billing, and intercompany accounts
  • Calculate and report revenue based on Cost Plus agreements for international entities
  • Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll, benefits, accrued income taxes, and other liabilities
  • Prepare, record, and reconcile long-term debt accounts, including notes payable and deferred financing fees
  • Perform intercompany eliminations, allocations, and consolidations
  • Manage and report on cash accounts through consolidated financial statements
  • Draft policies and procedures, documenting accounting principles and recommendations
Requirements
  • Solid US GAAP knowledge
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills, including vLookups and Pivot Tables
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Understanding of internal control concepts
  • Significant experience with payroll, cash, and capitalized software
