Job Title:

Endpoint Management Director

About the Role:

The Endpoint Management Director will be responsible for leading and participating in all aspects of endpoint management operations. This includes providing strategic oversight and hands-on support for endpoint management tools, supervising and mentoring team members, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct endpoint management operations, including Tanium, Intune, GPO, JAMF, and other tools.
  • Supervise and mentor Senior Systems Administrator/Engineer and other team members.
  • Coordinate endpoint management tasks across global teams.
  • Define and own strategy for application and operating system lifecycle management.
  • Ensure best practices for configuring, administering, and supporting endpoint tools.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of endpoint management tools.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and ensure timely resolution of endpoint issues.
  • Support OS deployment automation and software packaging/patching strategies.
  • Manage integration of business applications into endpoint management tools.
  • Develop project plans, track progress, and report to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure cohesive endpoint management practices.
  • Oversee global software distribution and OS patching for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Implement and manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Coordinate security patch and software testing schedules.
  • Generate and present endpoint management reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain health and availability of endpoint management systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in endpoint management, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as Tanium, Intune, JAMF, and Active Directory Group Policy.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans while remaining hands-on with technical tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
