Data Configuration Specialist Job Description

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Data Configuration Specialist to facilitate the development and ongoing maintenance of our data extract, transform, and load (ETL) platform.

This role ensures that all source to destination files are accurately mapped, configuration files are created and managed, and troubleshooting is performed to resolve potential data issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Map source to destination files for precise data transformation and loading.
  • Create, update, and manage configuration files essential for the ETL platform.
  • Ongoing maintenance of platform configurations to accommodate new data sources.
  • Initial troubleshooting and escalation of data-related issues to engineering teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of configurations and mappings for auditing and future reference.
Requirements:
  • Data Analysis Experience: At least 1 year required.
  • Agile Process Knowledge: At least 1 year required.
  • IDX Process Knowledge: Preferred but not required.
Skill Requirements:
  • A proactive approach with flexibility, problem-solving skills, and prioritization.
  • Professionalism with adherence to professional standards while working independently.
  • Quality-oriented with attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
  • Customer-driven with strong communication skills and prioritization of customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in data analysis and configuration management.
