About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Payroll Consultant, responsible for ensuring successful deployment of Workday solutions. This role involves architecting, configuring, and testing Workday configurations, as well as fostering the development of other consultants by sharing expertise and supporting proposal preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on Workday Payroll product suite, including Absence or Time Tracking
  • Lead deployments, either as a team member or coach, to successfully gather client business requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with client/data conversion teams to convert legacy data into Workday
  • Configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentor new consultants, serving as a professional role model and coach on product knowledge
  • Resolve complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support
  • Foster clients' adoption of Workday best practices
  • Ensure ongoing client satisfaction, enabling Intecrowd to be referenceable and referable
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications
  • Evaluate functional solutions for compatibility with downstream data translation
  • Demonstrate computational thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience implementing PATT Solutions
  • Active Workday Payroll Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company
  • Experience configuring and deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Project management experience
  • Functional experience in Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly
  • Expected travel +/-30%
