Job Details

The Legal Counsel is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for crafting and reviewing construction contracts related to the power transmission, distribution & substation, telecommunications, and civil infrastructure industries in the U.S. and Canada.

  • Craft, review, and/or redline construction contracts related to the power transmission, distribution & substation, telecommunications, and civil infrastructure industries in the U.S. and Canada
  • Identify issues and adhere to established protocols regarding construction contract terms
  • Prioritize and prepare memos to assess contract risks
  • Provide feedback on customers' responses to company redlines
  • Maintain availability for reviews with tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal attorneys to prepare summaries and contract forms as needed

Key qualifications include 5+ years of experience advising companies on complex construction law matters, a degree from an accredited law school, admission to practice law in relevant jurisdictions, familiarity with the U.S. legal system, and experience working in a multi-national environment with a U.S.-based entity.

This mid-senior level position demands a strong service-oriented mentality, exceptional work ethic, and the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
