Southeast Asia Expansion Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive our regional expansion efforts in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the language learning and assessment landscape, as well as proven success in business development and partnership growth.
The successful Regional Expansion Manager will establish relationships with key decision-makers in language education and assessment, identify new business opportunities, and develop tailored go-to-market strategies for each country. They will also be responsible for ensuring market penetration and brand awareness of our certifications in both public and private sectors.
The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, as well as fluency in English and proficiency in any major Southeast Asian language. Experience working across diverse cultural contexts and multi-country portfolios is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop business opportunities in Southeast Asia through direct sales and channel partnerships
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts
- Forge and nurture high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers in language education and assessment
- Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each country's unique language education landscape
- Ensure market penetration and brand awareness of certifications in both public and private sectors
- Participate in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region
