Accounting Professional Opportunity

TYLin is seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our growing Finance team.

  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement through the development of spreadsheet reports and verification of information.
  • Prepare transaction entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data prior to processing, utilizing tools such as Deltek Vision.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining accounting procedures, recommending opportunities for enhancement and change.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts, to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Meet all deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual processes and reporting requirements.
  • Provide support with budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis as needed, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues to management, promoting a collaborative and proactive work environment.

Responsibilities include performing special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc tasks as requested by management. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 1-5 years of experience in a related field. Industry experience in Engineering/Architecture is preferred, along with strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented skills, and excellent communication abilities. Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations is essential, with Deltek Vision systems experience being a plus.
