Client Service Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced client service professional to join our financial advisory practice. This role is designed for someone who can work independently and take initiative.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Experience Management: Manage end-to-end client service processes to ensure seamless experiences.
  • Compliance Documents: Prepare and review Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs), and other compliance-related documents with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support to Advisers: Assist financial advisers by handling paraplanning tasks, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain and update client records in CRM systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with product providers and clients to follow up on applications, transactions, and outstanding requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Australian financial services regulations and company policies.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and contribute to a positive team culture.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: In client services, paraplanning, or a similar role in financial planning/wealth management.
  • Financial Planning Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, maintaining high levels of productivity.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all aspects.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively liaise with advisers, providers, and clients.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with financial planning software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-Driven: Self-driven, proactive, and committed to building trust and long-term relationships within the team.
