Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Real Estate Accounting Specialist with in-depth knowledge of financial transactions, accounting records, and business insights to support decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize industry-leading software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts using cloud-based accounting systems to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with leading accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
