Job Overview

This is a remote position that seeks a highly skilled and motivated accounting professional to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our organization's financial operations, the role will support the monthly close, financial reporting, and technical accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Perform trend analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing explanations for fluctuations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Support annual financial statement and statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, tax, legal, IT, HR, payments, and facilities.
  • Implement new accounting policies and maintain proper documentation.
  • Handle ad-hoc accounting requests and projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in public accounting and/or industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany, equity, and financial reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred.
