Please note that this job description is for an experienced accounting professional seeking a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US taxation and accounting.

The role involves overseeing and managing US taxation processes, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and GAAP principles. This includes preparing and filing corporate tax returns, developing tax strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize liabilities, and conducting in-depth tax audits and resolving complex taxation issues.

Responsibilities also include researching and interpreting US tax laws to ensure full regulatory compliance, providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to senior management, and overseeing financial statements, balance sheets, and other accounting reports.

A key aspect of the role is performing high-level financial analysis and reporting for executive decision-making. To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, as well as CPA certification or equivalent accreditation.

Additionally, the candidate should have minimum three years of experience specializing in US taxation and accounting, extensive knowledge of IRS regulations, GAAP, and US tax compliance, and proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting platforms.
