Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loans Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Special Accounts Management Division, you will be responsible for the management and resolution of past due loans as well as potential problem accounts referred by our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed reports and memoranda for senior management containing account developments and/or loan recovery efforts, whether prospective or ongoing.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and studies to identify emerging trends and recommend appropriate strategy/remedial action to undertake.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and proper implementation and documentation of approved settlement schemes.
  • Monitor clients'/borrowers' adherence to the terms and conditions of the approved settlement scheme, including timely remittance of scheduled payments and compliance with documentary requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and monitor subsequent changes in the company (e.g., supplier relations, loss of customers, etc.) and the industry (e.g., removal of tariffs, new entrants and new production technologies) that may impact the approved settlement scheme.
  • Represent the organization at consortia meetings and court hearings, as deemed necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and fellow creditor banks through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Produce high-quality reports, such as collection reports and master lists of accounts, as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in handling remedial accounts with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in handling consumer banking and commercial banking, with a focus on commercial/corporate accounts.
  • Strong credit and financial analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
