We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Loans Officer. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

About the Role
  • This position is responsible for supervising Loans Processors on their duties and ensuring that all post-booking functions are implemented in accordance with established procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate daily transactions to achieve accurate post-booking servicing.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely servicing of post-booking functions such as preparation and sending of Statements of Account, payment plans, and certifications of commercial loan accounts.
  3. Implement proper safekeeping, recording, and monitoring of Cashier's checks, Post-Dated Checks, Promissory Notes, Disclosure Statements, and accountable forms within fire-proof vaults.
  4. Maintain compliance with dual custody requirements in handling keys and combination records, including turnovers during leave availments.
  5. Ensure timely completion of daily processes, including sending post-booking confirmation emails, client copies of PNDS, and memos.
  6. Develop process improvements and provide effective customer service.
  7. Contribute to the development of new processes and systems by conceptualizing improvements and engaging personnel to suggest innovative solutions.
  8. Participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements.
  9. Communicate directly with clients on billing, SOA issues, loan account questions, and other information.
  10. Supervise Loans Processors and conduct regular meetings to update personnel on current issues and discuss measures for productivity improvement.
  11. Train staff to become flexible and multi-skilled, coordinating with HR for training and seminars.
  12. Assist in career planning through performance monitoring and appraisal, recommending deserving personnel for promotion or model employee awards.
