Job Description

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to mortgage brokers throughout the loan application process. This involves assisting brokers at all stages of the loan process from initial contact to settlement.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective communication skills to ensure seamless operations and success.

  • Support the Broker throughout the loan application process.
  • Assist brokers at all stages of the loan process from first contact to settlement.
  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to Mortgage Brokers and their applications.
  • Request client information, liaise with clients directly to gather supporting info.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations.
  • Research lender policies.
  • Prepare loan comparisons.
  • Package client loan applications, ensure data entry requirements are accurate and all supporting documentation is as per bank requirements.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting.
  • Take ownership of compliance-related matters, capture all documentation and data in the CRM system.
  • Complete loan serviceability, order valuations, prepare forms, gather rate quotes, arrange loan doc execution, and arrange settlements with stakeholders.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry is an advantage.
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology lodgment systems.
  • Passionate about delivering quality client outcomes.
  • Understanding of data privacy, Australian Best Interest Duty, Responsible Lending legislation, and the broker's obligations.
  • Accountable and accurate work.
  • Understanding of mortgages language and end-to-end loan application process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to understand financial documents, bank credit policy, and assess PAYG applications.
  • Great team player with a strong work ethic.
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly.
  • Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking.
