Job Role: Remote Mortgage Loan Specialist

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Australian Time Zone)

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in mortgage loan processing.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the mortgage processing team, assisting in preparing, reviewing, and processing mortgage loan applications. This role focuses on gathering and validating financial documents, ensuring compliance with lending standards, and coordinating with brokers, lenders, and clients to ensure a seamless loan application experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and lodgment via Flex and Salestrekker systems
  • Credit report generation and analysis
  • Document relabelling and verification
  • Pricing and escalation management
  • Valuation and assessment of home loan applications
  • Financial analysis and document review
  • Loan servicing and product comparison
  • Lender selection and funding position analysis
  • Loan packaging and submission preparation
  • Mortgage discharge process management
  • Credit and non-credit related MIRs handling
  • Client communication and update management

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in loan processing, mortgage support, and loan packaging within the Australian mortgage industry.
  • Familiarity with Australian mortgage products, lending policies, lending criteria, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in loan application software and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple loan applications simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (NCCP, Responsible Lending) and privacy regulations in Australia.
