Job Title: Deskside Technician

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to onsite clients, including hardware and software support services.
  • Analyze end-user system failures and implement repair solutions.
  • Determine the cause of printer and peripheral device malfunctions and apply corrective measures.
  • Troubleshoot network devices to ensure connectivity between PCs and networks.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or vocational training in IT-related fields is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in college or completion of a diploma/certificate program.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • At least one to three years of experience in IT support, deskside support, or a similar role within a business process outsourcing environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote desktop support tools.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Experience handling Active Directory tasks such as account creation, password resets, and group policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure BPO environment.
  • Flexibility and adherence to schedules are essential for this position.
  • Ongoing work from day one at a specified location.
