JOB OVERVIEW:

Data Lake PH is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Helpdesk & Office IT Support Engineer to provide end-user support for Starlink satellite internet services, while also managing internal IT systems, reporting tools, and network infrastructure. This hybrid role combines frontline technical support to Customers with back-office IT functions, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, report generation, and network configuration. You will be an integral part of both the Customer Support and Network Management System (NMS) departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Helpdesk & Technical Support

  • Deliver prompt and professional technical support for connectivity, hardware, or configuration issues related to Starlink services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems using diagnostic tools and remote access support platforms.
  • Guide customers through hardware/software installation and configuration procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of support cases in internal ticketing systems.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior engineers or appropriate technical teams.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Starlink technology and share insights with team members.

Office IT Support

  • Support internal teams with IT troubleshooting, hardware/software setup, and network access.
  • Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to integrate and transform data for business reporting needs.
  • Design and generate automated and ad hoc reports using Google Sheets, databases, and other reporting tools.
  • Maintain and enhance Google Sheets dashboards, internal databases, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve IT-related issues or manage IT assets.
  • Assist with software updates, backups, and security compliance for internal systems.

Network Management & Configuration

  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of network devices, such as routers, switches, and access points.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively address connectivity or latency issues.
  • Work closely with the NMS team to implement and update network configurations as required.
  • Maintain documentation for network infrastructure and internal IT assets.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting, diagnostics tools, and IT asset management.
  • Familiarity with ETL workflows and tools, database management, and Google Sheets scripting or automation.
  • Proficiency in generating reports and handling data transformation using spreadsheets or database queries.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
  • Effective communicator with excellent organizational and coordination skills.
