Job Title: Commercial Insurance Specialist

    As a key team member in our Commercial Lines Department, you will play a crucial role in educating current clients and attracting new ones. Your primary responsibility will be to provide proposals for agency producers, quote policies with top-rated carriers, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and markets.


Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist

    The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance and possess a strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance policies, coverages, and products. Familiarity with the operations of an Independent Insurance Agency is also required.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas effectively
  • Experience handling customer inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance
  • Persuasive communication skills to offer additional products where appropriate
  • Ability to manage Certificates of Insurance (COI), Evidence of Property Insurance (EOP), and Homeowners Insurance documentation

Technical & System Proficiency
  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Partners XE)
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Familiarity with quoting platforms like Ez Lynx for remarketing
