Job Description

You will be part of their team as an Australian Tax Accountant, supporting a dynamic portfolio of clients. You will handle BAS, FBT returns, and financial statements under the guidance of a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will also assist Directors and Managers in delivering compliance and advisory services that drive client success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general accounting duties for sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
  • Prepare reconciliations, accounts, draft financial statements, and workpapers.
  • Prepare income tax returns for business entities and individual taxpayers.
  • Account for GST and prepare monthly and quarterly activity statements.
  • Apply new tax rules and regulations accurately and effectively.
  • Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
