Accountant Role Overview

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing client financial data and ensuring compliance with Australian Taxation Office regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, working papers, and tax returns in compliance with ATO regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software for financial accounts and tax returns.
  • Manage client data and documentation via secure online platforms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide expert advice on tax-related matters, including income tax obligations, capital gains tax calculations, and Goods and Services Tax compliance.
Qualifications / Skills:
  • CPA, CA, or tax-specific qualifications.
  • Experience with other Australian accounting standards.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Australian tax accounting, with proven expertise in tax compliance, regulations, and strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software, OneDrive, Outlook, and Excel for reporting and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
