About the JobThis position involves providing technical support and mentorship to learners, ensuring they overcome any obstacles and achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, guiding learners through our comprehensive learning materials, and offering assistance with key areas such as networking, Linux, and Windows systems.
In this full-time salaried role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, validate product features, and drive successful learner outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver timely and effective general and technical support to learners via chat and email.
- Provide expert guidance on networking, Linux, and Windows systems to help learners resolve problems.
- Mentor learners by offering personalized advice on our foundational learning materials.
- Evaluate exams for OffSec certifications, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
- Test, verify, and validate our products, lab systems, and features to guarantee quality and functionality before release.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify solutions, meet shared objectives, and drive successful outcomes.
- Take initiative in developing, refining, and implementing processes that enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including shifts, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the success of learners and our initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, Linux, and Windows systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide clear and effective support via chat and email.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Experience in guiding or mentoring individuals in cybersecurity subjects.
- Ability to develop and improve processes to drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- A strong commitment to teamwork in a remote working environment.
- A growth mindset fosters a commitment to continuous learning, embracing challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and investigation skills.
- Familiarity with networking, virtualization systems, and operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and others.
- Prior experience in tech support or a similar role.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, social networks, and network monitoring tools.
- Relevant technical or IT certifications are an asset.
This is a full-time salaried position with a flexible shift work schedule, allowing you to work from a home office.
