About the Role

The Telecommunications Engineer - Core Network and Facilities will be responsible for proactive monitoring, compliance assurance, asset management, and collaboration across teams to support projects and drive continuous improvement. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform network health checks and system backups.
  2. Perform corrective maintenance and restore network/system faults within SLA timeframes.
  3. Support Engineering, TIER1, and TIER2 teams in issue resolution.
  4. Update site databases using CNFM digital tools.
  5. Monitor and collaborate with support units on building structure, equipment layout, electrical power, and air conditioning/ventilation.
  6. Identify and escalate network criticality threshold breaches.
  7. Assist in monitoring asset changes and ensure protection according to industry standards.
  8. Assist in tracking and resolving corrective actions for findings.
  9. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, document, report, and address non-compliance.
  10. Identify operational concerns and improvement needs, and escalate them accordingly.
  11. Participate in project support; review Technical Safety Security Report (TSSR), Method of Procedure (MOP), participate in surveys, and provide input, check and monitor project progress and compliance, and participate in the acceptance phase.
  12. Participate in training sessions, meetings, cascades, coaching/mentoring sessions.
  13. Collaborate and coordinate with other teams for fault restorations, corrective maintenance, project support, and implementations.
