Project Supervisor in Neurodiversity and Human Centred Computing

This project aims to create and implement novel project supervision tools for academic supervision of bachelor projects and master theses, considering different constellations of neurodivergent and neurotypical students and supervisors.

The postdoc project focuses on creating enabling conditions for interaction between students and supervisors displaying diverse neurotype constellations. Specifically, the postdoc will:

  • Identify best practices for project supervision considering neurodivergent students
  • Identify best practices for project supervision considering neurodivergent teachers/supervisors
  • Create project supervision tools supporting student-teacher interaction considering different neurodiversity constellations
  • Anchore the new project supervision tools at DIKU while preparing to extend them across all departments at SCIENCE

The research group is part of the Department of Computer Science, SCIENCE Faculty, University of Copenhagen. The university offers a welcoming, supportive, and caring environment for all researchers.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates within the field(s) of computer supported cooperative work (cscw)/human computer interaction/computing education. Relevant backgrounds include but are not limited to computer science education, accessibility, and neurodiversity.

Candidates should have knowledge about academic supervision and how to create enabling conditions supporting interaction between neurodivergent/neurotypical students and/or teachers.

What We Offer

The university offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary starting at 38,700 dkk per month, a pension scheme, and other employment conditions set in accordance with the agreement between the ministry of taxation and ac or other relevant organisations.
