Job Summary

An Executive Sous Chef is needed to manage and lead the culinary team to ensure smooth operation and maximize standards in the hotel's kitchen.

This role involves planning, preparing, and implementing high-quality food and beverage products, as well as maintaining all HACCP aspects within the hotel operation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or culinary arts, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare menus, including daily specials and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve excellence in food quality and presentation
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement cost-saving measures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Participate in quality initiatives and training programs to improve knowledge and skills
  • Assist in managing labor costs and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and supplies
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
