About the Role

Job Overview

This position supports the procurement function in ensuring the timely and accurate generation of purchase orders for various markets.

The Purchasing Coordinator will use a combination of in-house tools and Google Suite packages to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our ordering processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support inbound supply chain operations & external partnerships to ensure ingredients arrive at customers on time and in full
  • Calculate and issue purchase orders for category area(s)
  • Complete audit checks to ensure orders are complete and accurate before sending to suppliers
  • Resolve supplier queries on purchase orders or transportation, and escalate where necessary
  • Resolve operational issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Establish and maintain reports supporting daily operations
  • Distribute forecast information to suppliers
  • Partner with Suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely purchase orders fulfill customer requirements
  • Correct or escalate data inaccuracies to Line Manager
  • Report tooling issues and recommend improvements
  • Maintain data confidentiality and uphold business integrity
  • Support day-to-day tasks as needed, including data entry, emergency purchase orders, updates to delivery schedules, and inventory data analysis
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of previous purchasing experience as a Buyer
  • Requires expertise in operating Microsoft Office programs, and ideally ERP/MRP systems
