Lead Web Development Team

The successful candidate will oversee a team of developers, promoting collaboration and ensuring effective project execution to meet deadlines.

  • Mentor and lead a team of developers, fostering teamwork and ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the development team, management, and clients, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives and consistent updates on progress.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts when necessary.
  • Design and develop web applications using custom WordPress themes and plugins, adhering to industry best practices.

A key differentiator is expertise in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue, along with experience in Webflow, proficiency in Sketch and Invision, and familiarity with other tools and platforms: WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of developers and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborating with the development team to create and maintain websites.
  • Ensuring the live website's performance is monitored and optimized.
  • Documenting and creating user guides for various websites using an existing template/format.
Requirements

We expect you to have:

  • Proven 5+ years of hands-on experience as a WordPress developer using custom built themes, including multisite configuration, custom themes, plugins, ACF, and Gutenberg editor.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a development team.
  • Worked on at least 5 WordPress websites in the past, with links to sample work or portfolio requested.
  • A strong understanding of WordPress security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
