Job Overview

This is a senior systems architect role that requires both technical expertise and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing scalable front-end and back-end systems, as well as guiding a team of engineers to achieve business goals.

The role involves hands-on development using Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios APIs, as well as automation workflows with N8N and integration with vector stores/databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the technical architecture for an AI agent platform.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers initially 2–3, scaling up to 10+.
  • Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering teams to align architecture with business objectives.
Infrastructure & Deployment
  • Manage deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.
  • Oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and maintain secure local and remote deployments, with Cloudflare for instance management.
Security & Networking
  • Architect and secure local networks and deployment environments.
  • Contribute to security discussions as the company scales.
  • Work across multiple projects balancing optimization of existing systems with rollout of new features.
  • Use Git versioning and project management tools to ensure clean workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration.
  • Advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios API.
  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.
  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.
