Solar Project Manager - Renewable Energy Specialist

Job Description

The Solar Project Manager will oversee the design preparation, construction management, QA/QC/HSSE compliance monitoring, punch-listing, test and commissioning of assigned projects. This role requires handling multiple engineering disciplines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HSSE in coordination with site HSE Managers to analyze EPC Contractors' implementation periodically.
  • Develop and implement solar project strategies.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and customers to align project goals.
  • Manage project teams and assign responsibilities.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Identify risks in construction implementation and develop solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineering License or PMP Certification preferred.
  • HSSE certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) advantageous.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in solar or renewable energy projects.
  • Proven track record of managing utility-scale EPC projects from design to commissioning.
