  • Engage with government agencies and local communities to resolve permitting and compliance matters.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Monitor changes in mining regulations and advise senior management on potential impacts and compliance strategies.
  • Draft contracts aligned with templates.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all aspects of tenement management are properly addressed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with tenement-related activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of mining laws, rules and regulations.
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role or exposure in government relations, compliance and permitting in mining and similar industries.
  • Excellent knowledge of stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Broad knowledge of mining permitting and compliance.
