Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to fill the role of Project Quality Assurance Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the performance monitoring of project quality control activities, ensuring timely development and approval of quality procedures and plans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct QC inspection and testing activities and generate reports for relevant Lead QA and QC Engineers.
- Support verification of quality inspection and testing results/activities of assigned projects to ensure materials and workmanship conform to relevant specifications, applicable codes.
- Prepare QC inspections checklist, inspection and testing plans, and project quality plan specific to the project assigned in coordination with Lead QA and QC Engineers.
- Review contract specifications, identify project-specific requirements, and ensure timely development and approval of quality procedures and plans.
- Control as-built conditions and modifications of engineering documents.
- Cordinate with pre-commissioning and commissioning team for relevant inspections and records.
- Monitor and record close out of punch list items.
- Facilitate project closure and turnover of quality documents for completion.
- Perform spot checks and surveillance on vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance delivery.
- Work with construction teams and subcontractors towards successful completion of assigned projects.
- E nsure project personnel are fully aware of quality requirements by dissemination of quality control procedures, documents, and programs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of Bachelor's/College degree in Civil Engineering; Licensed Engineer.
- Preferably with IQA Certification.
- At least 2 years work experience in same field.
- Knowledgeable in quality international standards.
- Willing to be assigned to project sites.
