At Abby Care, our goal is to train and employ family caregivers so they can get paid for the care they already provide at home.

The Role
  • We're looking for a Documentation Specialist who will collect, review, and track required documentation from caregivers and families. This includes IDs, certifications, health records, and other necessary documents.
  • This person will also make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to guide families through the documentation process.
  • They must be able to handle a high volume of phone interactions daily while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with state and Medicaid/Medicare regulations is crucial for this role.
  • The successful candidate will communicate clearly and compassionately with families via phone, text, and email.
  • Maintaining organized records and tracking expiring documents, sending timely reminders, is also a key responsibility.
  • This individual will collaborate with onboarding, credentialing, and family support teams to deliver a smooth experience.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in customer service, administration, or healthcare support.
  • Proven experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail when reviewing documents.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, shared drives, or document tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize follow-ups, and meet deadlines.
